As a resident of the city who has repeatedly sought help from the city for the erosion on my property from the storm water easement that lies there, I am hoping that if I am now going to be subjected to a fee, that those monies can be applied to a problem that has existed for more than 20 years. I would be interested in hearing exactly the pecking order for application of this new revenue source.

Thank you for your comment, Dale Diaz. Later this year, the City will have an application process and scoring criteria to review project ideas that encourages a public-private partnership, and that will contribute to reducing polluted runoff coming off our lands and that flow into local waterways. Presently, we are proposing that the selection committee include the citizen Stormwater Advisory Committee that is appointed by City Council.

I am also aware of the drainage situation on your property and would be happy to discuss it with you. Please feel free to call me at 540-434-5928. - Thanh Dang, Transportation & Environmental Planning Manager, Public Works Department

Water is important source of our life. By resume writing group review it is important to drink clean water. There are some places where drainage systems are poor. People are not drinking pure water. Pipes must be clean to get clean and pure water.
